Review moderation policy
Last updated: June 11, 2026
Reviews only help if they’re real. This page explains exactly how reviews work on Medicare Agent Scout and the rules we apply before anything appears publicly.
Our commitments
- No fabricated reviews. We never write, buy, or generate reviews, and we don’t allow agents to either.
- No fake ratings. Star ratings are computed only from approved consumer reviews. Profiles without reviews show no rating at all.
- Every review is moderated by our team before publication.
- Sample profiles never display reviews or ratings.
Who can leave a review
Consumers who have worked with an agent — directly, or in response to a review request the agent sends through the platform. Agents cannot review themselves, their colleagues, or competitors.
What gets rejected
- Reviews we can’t reasonably attribute to a genuine client interaction
- Incentivized reviews (discounts, gifts, or anything of value in exchange)
- Reviews containing personal health information — please never include details about your medical conditions or claims
- Profanity, harassment, or personal attacks
- Content about plan outcomes we can’t verify (e.g., specific savings claims)
- Reviews of someone other than the listed agent
What agents can and cannot do
Agents may request reviews from real clients and may report a review they believe violates this policy — each report is re-moderated by a human. Agents cannot pay to remove, hide, or reorder negative reviews. A negative review that meets our guidelines stays.
Disputes and corrections
If you believe a review is fraudulent or violates this policy, use the “Report incorrect info” link on the profile or contact us. We review all reports, and we remove reviews when the evidence supports it — in both directions.
Reviews reflect individual experiences and are not a prediction of your outcome or an endorsement by Medicare Agent Scout. For plan information, rely on official plan documents, Medicare.gov, or 1-800-MEDICARE.
