Original Medicare
Original Medicare is the federal health insurance program made up of Part A (hospital insurance) and Part B (medical insurance). You can use any doctor or hospital in the U.S. that accepts Medicare, with no networks. Original Medicare does not include prescription drug coverage or a yearly out-of-pocket limit, so many people add a Part D plan and a Medigap policy.
