Medicare Advantage / Part C
Medicare Advantage, also called Part C, is an alternative to Original Medicare offered through private insurance companies approved by Medicare. These plans include Part A and Part B coverage, usually include prescription drug coverage, and many add extra benefits. Plans typically use provider networks, and costs and benefits vary by plan and location.
