Formulary

A formulary is the list of prescription drugs a Medicare Part D or Medicare Advantage drug plan covers. Plans place drugs in tiers that affect what you pay, and a formulary can change from year to year. Checking that your medications are on a plan's formulary is an important step when comparing plans.

This is general education, not personalized advice, and plan details change every year. For all of your options, contact Medicare.gov, 1-800-MEDICARE, or your local State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) at shiphelp.org.
