Deductible

A deductible is the amount you pay for covered services before your plan begins to pay its share. Different parts of Medicare and different plans have their own deductibles. After you meet a deductible, you usually still share some costs through copayments or coinsurance.

This is general education, not personalized advice, and plan details change every year. For all of your options, contact Medicare.gov, 1-800-MEDICARE, or your local State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) at shiphelp.org.
